<avalancheActivityHighlights>Moist snow slides during the day.</avalancheActivityHighlights>
<avalancheActivityComment>On very steep slopes moist snow slides are possible as the day progresses, but they will be mostly small. These can be released by people or triggered naturally. As a consequence of the rain the prevalence and size of the avalanche prone locations will increase in the afternoon. Even a small avalanche can sweep people along and give rise to falls. Backcountry tours should be concluded early.</avalancheActivityComment>
<snowpackStructureComment>In all regions less snow than usual is lying. On shady slopes above approximately 2000 m there are 20 to 40 cm of snow, and even more in some localities. <br/> On shady slopes at low altitude no snow is lying. Intermediate and high altitudes: The snowpack is largely stable and its surface consists of loosely bonded snow lying on a strong melt-freeze crust. <br/> On steep sunny slopes at low and intermediate altitudes no snow is lying. High altitudes: The surface of the snowpack will only just freeze and will already soften in the late morning.</snowpackStructureComment>
<tendencyComment>Saturday: Slight decrease in danger of moist avalanches as the temperature drops.</tendencyComment>
