Outside marked and open pistes a moderate danger will persist. The fresh and somewhat older wind slabs can be released by a single winter sport participant in isolated cases in particular on northeast to east to south facing aspects above approximately 2000 m, caution is to be exercised in particular adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls as well as at the border to Ribagorça and Pallars. Avalanches are rather small. <br/> Isolated dry snow slides are to be expected also in extremely steep terrain. These can be released by a single winter sport participant, but they will be small in most cases. 40 to 60 cm of snow, and even more in some localities, has fallen since Friday in all altitude zones. Over a wide area new snow and wind slabs are lying on a hard crust. 5 to 10 cm of snow will fall in the next few hours. At the southern and eastern borders of Aran as well as at high altitude snow depths vary greatly, depending on the infuence of the wind. <br/> The conditions are quite favourable for ski touring, freeriding and snowshoe hiking.
